Reference: Harrice Miller, Costume Jewelry - Confident Collector (2nd ed., 1994). p. 158. Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry - Art and Industry (2008) Vol 2 p 105, tentatively attributed to David Mir as designer, date 1942. We have seen another example with a clip mechanism suggesting a 1938-39 date - TKF6315 - which makes likely a 1939 date for both, with this brooch spanning the 'changeover' in clip design ••Reference Links - tkf6315
