Reference: Patent is reproduced below (scroll down); designer A Philippe, filed July, granted Oct 1951. The series name 'Rue de La Paix' was reported in Women's Wear Daily's description of Trifari's fall collection, 6 July 1951, p 13, mentioning 'persistent and imaginative use of half-moon shaped rhinestones... leaves, flowers, turtles, mushrooms.. as well as abstractions'.
