Reference: Part of a floral series named 'Rue de la Paix', a bracelet and necklace from which were advertised for sale at Sage-Allen, in the Hartford Courant, 19 May 1940, p 4; click thumbnail above to view advertisement. Patents are reproduced below (scroll down); designer A Philippe, filed April, granted May and June 1940 - the earring design is from the central element of the matching bracelet.
