Reference: Patent is for the 'duette' mechanism, to John Fielding of Providence RI, half assignor to Joseph P. Whitaker (the other partner in the Whitaker-Fielding Co, a Providence RI findings manufacturer), filed April 1933, granted Jan 1934. This pin dates from the mid 30s, manufacturer unknown.
