Reference: Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry - Art and Industry (2008) Vol 2 p 35 for Rice Weiner's Athennic Arts trademark, which corresponds to three June 1941 design patents with Greek (Byzantine) themes - at the same time as the Etrusceana and PersianCraft series (see WWD 7 July 1941 p 25; click thumbnail above to view article). The details of this bracelet appear in the patent reproduced below (scroll down); designer Louis C Mark for Rice Weiner, filed June, granted Sept 1941. The signature plaque seems to have fallen off: compare signed bracelet CER594; and unsigned necklace, with the same winged heads, CER602
