Reference: Mark dates this to 1950. Our thanks to Roberto Brunialti for sorting out the dates of the Boucher serial numbers, and generously sharing the information. There is no patent despite the mark - but there was probably a patent application for an over the ear version of the design, several of which were actually patented in 1950 - see BOU1863 ••Reference Links - bou1863
