Marked: Sterling; 78 is scratched on twice
Reference: Part of Boucher's Fall 1944 collection, described in Women's Wear Daily, 14 July 1944, p 18: among the 'sprays and bowknots in gold-plated sterling set with imported stones... an extra-large spray... is the outstanding pin in this group... beautifully detailed and delicate - despite the size which is twice that of most pins'. Condition: Excellent - originally a pin clip, due to its size this has been expertly converted to a brooch with two pins, to ensure a secure attachment
