Reference: Mark dates this to 1946. Our thanks to Roberto Brunialti for sorting out the dates of the Boucher serial numbers, and generously sharing the information. There is no patent despite the mark. Womens Wear Daily 4 Jan 1946 p 14 (click thumbnail above to view) describes Boucher's Spring collection, gold on sterling with turquoise coral lapis and sapphire, in a 'dancing dolls' series, where this pin is exactly described.
