Marked: Ciro (pin), earrings unsigned Reference: Mark, design, construction, and non-use of Sterling date this to 1938-42. Ciro, a British company, opened in NY City in 1938. The penguin is identical in design to a DuJay patent of 1939. The quality of workmanship is of Dujay standard. Patent is reproduced below.
