Marked: MB (phrygian cap)
Reference: Part of the metallic enamel animals birds and flowers series of 1940-41, designer Marcel Boucher. The date is made certain by the well-known Reinad/Chanel unauthorized copy of this piece, part of their only production run in early 1941 (script-signed Chanel), before the company was forced to change its name and mark to Reinad.
