Marked: Clip mates (one clip), Pat No 2050804 (other clip)
Reference: Patent is for the Trifari Clip Mate mechanism, granted 1936. See Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry, pp. 98, 100, a similar fruit salad clip dated 1936, and p.16 for the clipmate patent. The lack of a Trifari mark dates this to before Dec 1937 (the KTF period)
