Reference: Brunialti, Tribute to America, pp. 44, 57, 58. The insignia is that of the British and American Ambulance Corps, which benfited from the production of this pin. One is pictured with Veronica Lake, the film star, in Town and Country, 1943, with other allied insignia, promoting the war effort. Patent is reproduced below (scroll down); designer Victor Silson, dated 1940
